Can I download GW from Web anywhere? - Guild Wars Forums

Does anyone know if there is anywhere on the web where I can download the full game, kind of like Direct2Drive which I have used before that can be trusted?

Any replies appreciated

Can't get any more trustworthy place to buy a game than directly from publisher .

manual has 70 pages of interesting game lore

once you've actually bought the game, you can "download it" directly from guildwars.com, the full 360k

Heh, You get the full version on disc also

If you get from the web, theres minuites of updating to do! Oh, hold the phone!

Thanks all. I did the plaync thing and was up and playing in a matter of 5 min! Good deal!

I thought it would be a 2 or 3 gig download but I guess with this streaming stuff it kind of changes the way you do things.

Ya I do love the streaming! Very innovative idea. Couldn't believe I was up and playing in less than 10 min. total.

Now if I could just get people to talk to me! Seems like whenever I ask a question I get no response and I can't find anything on the web site explaining the chat window all that well. Is this whisper thing how you talk to someone alone or are people just ignoring me?

it would be harder to learn the interface without the manual.. and yes many peeps are not friendly. if you really need help PM me and I can teach you some stuff in game.

Guild Wars has an excellent online manual so there's no real need to buy a hard copy of the game just for the manual.
